Nebraska HBPA and Ho-Chunk Announce Agreement

Lincoln, NE - The Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent Protection Association (HBPA) and Ho- Chunk, Inc. have entered into an agreement to organize and sponsor a statewide ballot initiative petition, campaign and related actions necessary to legalize expanded gaming solely at Nebraska-licensed race tracks in the 2020 November state wide election.

Ho-Chunk, Inc. and the Nebraska HBPA have determined it is in each of their best interests to cooperate and coordinate resources in pursuit of the Initiative in 2020. It is estimated that Nebraskans wager over $500 million a year at casinos in surrounding states.
